Youth Ministry/Religious Education

We follow a whole church religious education model where youth and adult programming run concurrently using an Our Shared Values curriculum as a base. In 2025, we were the grateful recipients of a NYSCUU Grant for RE for all ages. This grant allowed us to set up an inviting youth space in our church. Along with books, we purchased Jetpig, which teaches UU values, and a Wonderbox, which has become a part of our first Sunday of the month Intergenerational Services. These first Sunday services are creative hands-on spiritual growth opportunities enjoyed by all, and especially engaging for the younger members of our congregation. Youth have also enjoyed special events including an Elf movie night and an art/game centered evening.

Our Religious Education programs continue to grow and adapt to meet the needs and interests of our members.
