Our summer services are going to revolve around 3 of our most well-known hymns. Each Sunday that hymn will be featured, as well as a sermon around it’s origins and composition.
Our summer services are lighter, casual and open to everyone to just be yourself.
Come in Person for Sunday Services-
Some of us prefer coming to our beautiful Sanctuary and being together with other congregants. We follow the current COVID guidelines, whatever they are. Refreshments, and coffee/tea/water is provided.. Re: Coffee Hour Treats: You may sign up on the calendar on the table by the front door to bring treats for Coffee Hour.

Some congregants prefer staying safely at home. Wendy Hvisdak films the services, so you can watch it live on Zoom or tune in anytime on Facebook. Sunday @ 10:30 a.m.

FIRE PIT FRIDAYS
Our fire pit Fridays will be on July 15 and also on August 12, 7 – 9 p.m. Come join us in the garden for some s’mores. Bring your outdoor chairs. More in the fall when it gets darker sooner and there’s a little chill to the air.

Make sure your items are clean and working – only “like new” items, please. And, if able, volunteer to help set up, sell, break down, and/or clean up afterward..

PROVIDENCE FARM COLLECTIVE was our charity for May and June. We are planning to attend a ”Walking Tour of their 37-acre farm” at 5701 Burton Road in Orchard Park on Thursday, July 28, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (716-473-9338) Tickets are $30.00. Get your ticket and call Marieanna or Wendy if you want to carpool. Dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes that you don”t mind getting dirty. – Expect a lot of walking and standing. Wear sunscreen and/or a hat and bring a drink. You may also bring a donation of shelf-stable food for the farmers and youth lunch program, such as: dried pinto beans, dried black-eyed peas, basmati rice, orzo, coconut milk, olive oil, canola oil.

Supporting the Village of Hamburg Summer Concerts Remember when we made a contribution to the Village of Hamburg for its’ Summer Concert Series? Well, as a result we are co sponsors of the August 3rd program, the BOSTON TOWN BAND! On Wednesday, August 3rd, from 7-9 p.m. We will have a table that night with brochures or whatever. Be sure to come that night. It’s always pleasant evening, sitting in the park and relax together. And it’s a little publicity for our church!
